Chief Executive Officer
Marcia Reeves Simpson has experience spanning engineering, geoscience, operations, and asset A&D. Her leadership at Chief Oil & Gas, LLC resulted in building one of the largest privately-owned gas producers in the United States, culminating in its $2.6B sale to Chesapeake in 2022. Prior to that, she served in executive roles and led development teams at multiple public and private organizations over her 48-year career.

Phil Flores brings deep technical expertise with unconventional assets, including reservoir simulation, development optimization, and prospect evaluation. He has served as the lead business development engineer for multiple operators, executing over $2B in asset A&D, $4B in M&A, and $10B in restructuring.
Jeff Nelson
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Nelson has a diverse energy finance background, with a track record of developing and executing strategies to maximize asset value through capital allocation, development planning, and M&A. He has served as a key member of management teams that have executed more than $2B in acquisitions and $1.5B in asset sales.
Bryce Yeager
EVP - Operations
Bryce Yeager has experience in operations and asset development across the Appalachian, Michigan, and DJ basins. He has led multi-disciplinary teams with a steady focus on safe, reliable, and efficient operations, consistently managing annual budgets exceeding $200MM. At Chief Oil & Gas, LLC, he oversaw drilling and completions operations which resulted in a production increase from 350 Mmcfpd to 1.2 Bcfpd.
Leigh Anne Judge

Leigh Anne Judge brings a comprehensive upstream accounting and finance experience. She previously led accounting and reporting functions at multiple upstream operators, where she built and scaled accounting functions, guided high-impact acquisitions, and served as a trusted partner to executive leadership across complex, multi-entity asset portfolios.
Austin Renta
VP - Land
Austin J. Renta has more than 20 years of industry experience in both conventional and unconventional development programs with extensive knowledge of the Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Marcellus shale plays and the Permian Basin. He has led land teams and large-scale field operations through multiple major transactions approaching $2B dollars. He excels at integrating land into the broader asset team, working alongside the other disciplines to facilitate the execution and success of corporate objectives.

Courtney Moad has more than 20 years of experience in oil and gas acquisitions, asset management, title analysis, and large-scale due diligence. She has led multidisciplinary teams on billion-dollar transactions and complex leasehold evaluations, helping organizations navigate risk, optimize asset value, and execute strategic business objectives. Known for her collaborative leadership style and technical expertise, she delivers practical solutions that support informed decision-making and long-term success.
Bryon George
Corporate Reserves Manager
Bryon George has more than 20 years of experience in corporate reserves, corporate development, engineering and GIS software applications, data analytics and SQL. He has worked in corporate reserves for both public and private operators and supported multiple acquisitions and sales processes. He has designed and implemented SQL database architecture across accounting, land, finance, reserves, operations, and IT over his career working for both public and private operators
